Cooking Time

3-6 month's supply

  • 1/4 cup arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Your favorite High Grade Essential Oil *

* I use doTERRA Essential Oils.  You can use any of your favorites, pick two or three or six.  I like Cedarwood, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Purify and Elevation.  Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint are also great.  I usually start with 12-15 drops total, so 3 or 4 drops each and then adjust from there according to smell.

Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use your hand to mix. (I try and keep the other one clean in case I need to add ingredients.)  The heat of your hand will soften the coconut oil to a liquid.

You may need to add more oil or baking soda depending on consistency.  You want it to be a thick dough-like substance.  Keep in mind the more you work with it, the softer it will become.

Once desired consistency is reached put mixture in a small glass jar and put it in the freezer overnight to set.

After that you should be able to keep it your bathroom, it will be softer in the summer and harder in the winter.  Use a spoon to scoop out a small amount and rub into armpits with hands.

Smell great and Enjoy!

I like to keep the recipe easy so you can remember it later.  Just think 4-4-4: 1/4 cup arrowroot, 1/4 cup baking soda and 4 tablespoons coconut oil.
